Congratulations to each of our August student of the Month recipients for the elementary building.
Kicking off College App Week a little early our Strother juniors and seniors attended the Shawnee Area College Fair held at OBU last week. Our students were able to meet with colleges from all over the state and surrounding states to weigh their options for their futures.
Reminder: We will be having parent teacher conferences Tuesday and Thursday next week. We would like to welcome all of our parents and guardians to take this opportunity to visit with our staff on your students progress and to update your contact information to stay up to date in our new district alerts system.
We love to see our students hard work and creativity come to life with their wood shop projects.
We are gearing up for College Application week with lots of activities and information for our students to help them prepare for their future.

Congratulations to Strother Students of the Month for the August! Our August Middle School Student of the Month is Abbi Scott and High School Student is Adrienne Hagy.
The Strother Student of the Month for each school is chosen based on qualities such as character, leadership, and citizenship. The Student of the Month must be a diligent student, completing his/her assignments on time, showing strong effort to learn. The Student of the Month demonstrates excellent behavior inside and outside of the classroom, is well-mannered, and respectful to both peers and teachers. Each Student of the Month will be eligible for the Student of the Year award in May.
Our Strother Lady Jackets will be competing in the Class A District Tournament starting Thursday, September 21st.
Tuesday, September 19th our JH football team takes on Maud at home.
